Recruiters
There are many ways for recruiters to become involved in the Finance Club, and to promote their brand on campus. We are open to engaging in any event that will benefit both students and recruiters. Events that we regularly host include:
• Speaker Series
This allows recruiters to showcase their talents in an educational format. Topics in the Speaker Series are at the discretion of the presenter, providing that they adhere to an educational format. Previous topics have included:
- Case studies
- Guides to various financial products
- Views of developments in particular markets (e.g. Brazil)
Speaker Series events are typically followed by a drinks reception for students. We encourage LBS alumni from the recruiting firm to attend in order to give students a more complete picture of the firm, and allow for networking.
• Off-site visits to recruiting firms
In this past this has included visits to trading floors, case studies hosted at a company premises, and so forth.
• Promotion through our website
We offer recruiting firms the opportunity to upload educational material on to our website. The presentations uploaded should be similar in nature to content in the Speaker Series outlined above. This promotes a recruiter's brand by demonstrating their knowledge and capabilities in a particular market, product, sector, or other.
Additionally, we can assist firms that are looking to recruit students with very specific backgrounds.
